Andy Diaz

Andy Diaz is a Democratic activist and consultant living in Miami. Andy worked as press secretary and spokesman for Joe Garcia in his competitive bid to serve as congressman in Florida's 25th Congressional District in 2008. Andy also worked communications for Americans Against Escalation in Iraq, an umbrella of advocacy groups, including MoveOn.org and Americans United for Change, organized to bring an end to the Iraq war.

In a past life, Andy worked as a newspaper editor for the Miami Herald and the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.

Andy holds a bachelor's degree in English Literature from Florida International University, and is currently a third-year law student at FIU College of Law.
